Hemet

VCSS Hemet is located in the city of Hemet, CA.

Hemet is a city in the San Jacinto Valley in Riverside County, California, and neighbors the town of San Jacinto. The founding of Hemet predates the formation of Riverside County. The formation of Lake Hemet helped the city to grow and stimulated agriculture in the area. One fun fact about Hemet is that the city is known for being the home of The Ramona Pageant. Started in 1923, the play is one of the longest running outdoor plays in the United States. The city is also home to the Hemet Valley Medical Center, a 320-bed general hospital.

VCSS Hemet opened in March of 2018 and provides wraparound programs for children's mental health services. We are honored to serve the families and children of Hemet.

Wraparound is a strength based approach which supports youth and their families in identifying their own strengths.Wraparound is an intensive, holistic method of engaging with children with complex needs so that they can live in their homes and communities and realize their hopes and dreams.

We partner with County behavioral health, child welfare, and juvenile justice departments implementing our Wraparound model focused on enhancing youth safety, permanency, and wellbeing through Wraparound programs for vulnerable youth and families. We recognize that no two families are alike, and Wraparound believes in tailoring services to meet each family’s individual and unique needs.

We are honored to partner with families in the Hemet area.
